Esencia is for people who want to come back to themselves through being with nature in a serene, natural and pure environment. The Villa sits on a gated estate of 2.25 acres of pristine land with only two Villas within a mile. You often will not see any one on the beach for days, with only an occasional boat going by.

There's almost always a cool breeze, you are 100 feet from the waters edge, and you are surrounded by lush green. The beach is pure white sand and is 4 miles long. The water is a gorgeous turquoise color, warm and gentle. You can spend hours comfortably in the water. The sea is shallow and safe for kids. There's a beautiful pool and hot tub nestled amongst the palms.

The Property Esencia is a 2.25 acre property of Provo jungle directly on the beach in Long Bay. The lush vegetation is wild and natural, giving you the feeling of being in the midst of undisturbed jungle. We have built in a way that flows with the land and the nature. Our pathways wind through the bush and follow nature’s creation and our buildings appear to have been dropped in, as we’ve cleared as little ground as possible.

The smell of wildflowers tantalizes your senses and the beautiful wild orchids reveal their magic. The Villas We have four Villas on this large 2.25 acre estate. Our four buildings are tucked away in the bush and sit separate and own their own from each other. The units with each building each have their own entrances and views, looking in different directions, further adding to the feeling of being on your own. Yet you are on a gated and secure property shared with others.

Within this natural beauty and simplicity Esencia is a first class resort property with all the amenities including high end design and construction, 3 pools, hot tub and fitness center. Here at Esencia you are ‘roughing it in style’. Long Bay Beach is the ideal place for a quiet and recharging vacation. This 3-mile white sand beach is a pleasure for long walks. The waters here are gentle and shallow. You can stand up and walk a long ways out with the waters just up to your waist. The turquoise blue warm waters a great for swimming or simply ‘hanging out’ in the water and absorbing that magic something that comes from the sea. You can stay for hours in the water and be at a comfortable temperature.

Our section of beach here at Esencia is particularly suited to couples and families. The Palm trees interspersed on our property with the Tiki huts underneath give shade a privacy. There is always a place to sit where you are on your own. Chaise lounges, chairs, umbrellas and hammocks give you always a comfortable place to stay. You can leave your things on your chair as you go for a swim or return to your suite for a bite to eat. And parents feel safe for their kids to play.

The shallow and safe waters, the quiet beach and the protected environment of Esencia make for a perfect family vacation. And if you want to be more active then we have that too. Stand up paddle boards and ocean kayaks are available for when you want to get out on the water. Take a paddle along the shore or, if you’re feeling more adventurous, there’s an old wreck a couple of miles out where you can take an afternoon cruse. Bring a mask and snorkel and see the many fish that made their home beneath it.

And for the brave of heart, Long Bay has become recognized as the best place in the world to learn to kiteboard. Long Bay has the unique combination of the right wind speed and direction, warm and shallow waters, long beach and safety that make it a superb place to learn to kite. This exciting new sport is the fastest growing sport in the world today, and is good for both children and aging adults, men and women. We have on the property at the time of this writing an eight-year old girl who is learning to kite and an 83 year old man who is learning too! You are never too old to learn kiting.

And if you’re already an experienced kiter, then come try out new tricks. The flat waters here make it a great place to take your next progression and there is an abundance of downwinders amongst the many islands, as well as the deep waters and waves just 5 minutes away on the other side of the island that can keep your adrenalin flowing. And if you’re not a kiter, you’ll love the colorful dance of the kites going by; its mesmerizing as the kites dance with the breeze and the kiters jump and turn and twirl with the wind and the sea.
