The space

The houseboat, standing in the tidal waters of Fresh Creek, Andros, is an awesome place to spend a vacation, a little gem set in a natural aquarium. The ocean flows under and all around you, marine life swims right by, you'll enjoy a swim or snorkel, fishing, star gazing while relaxing in this remote spot.

This unique wooden two storey houseboat has two air-conditioned en suite bedrooms upstairs, a king sized en suite studio bedroom downstairs, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, breakfast bar, plus a dining and social area. The houseboat has decks on three sides so you can always find a spot to fish and bathe in the sun or the shade.

Andros is famous for being off the beaten track, here the Eco tourist can enjoy fishing, swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, hiking, kayaking and beaching.

About the neighborhood

Andros is an eco-tourism destination with miles of deserted beaches, trails in the National Forest and Blue Holes to swim in. There is the third largest barrier reef located of the east coast of the island. In the North there are farms who sells fruits and vegetables when in season.

You can either take a taxi at the airport at Andros Town or rent a car for part or all of your stay.

How to get there

Our closest airport is Andros Town at Fresh Creek, Andros. Flying to Andros from Fort Lauderdale, then Makers Air fly into our local airport four times weekly. It’s an hour-long flight. From Nassau, Bahamas you could either fly with LeAir who have a desk in the Departure Hall, they have two flights daily. Check their website for bookings or twice daily flights are available with Randolph Holdings, located at Executive airport which is just a 5 minutes’ taxi ride from the international Arrivals Hall. Nassau to Andros is just a 15 minutes’ flight. The route to the Houseboat from the Andros Town Airport Leaving the airport take a left turn follow the road for a mile until seeing a Sunset Point sign, turn left here. Follow this track road for one mile until you see the houseboat Lane on the right.
