Newly constructed, this two-bedroom apartment is directly across from the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica. Located in a newly developed in New Kingston within very close proximity of both the National Arena and the National Stadium, the living room and bedroom gives you a clear view street side and of the main entrance to the Stadium.
Concerts and stage shows, sporting events, carnival, there is no need for transportation or sitting in traffic for extended periods as this apartment is conveniently located across the road.
The space
This is 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom comes with plenty of closet for storage, living, dining and fully equipped kitchen.
The bedroom has 1 Queen size bed for that comfortable night’s sleep while on your vacation, it comes with 2 double beds. Guest must indicate whether they need 2 twin beds as we'll always default with the king bed. There is adequate AC throughout the apartment and AC is located in the bedroom.
Both bathrooms has a sizable bathroom counter with plenty of storage drawers and bathtubs.
The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals with all the necessary appliances, silverware, and complimentary essentials (cooking oil, black pepper and salt). There is also "Island Dining" which seats up to 6 persons.
The living area which looks out to the National Stadium has a sitting area and laptop / work area. A smart TV with more than 100+ cable channels for your enjoyment.
There is adequate amount of closet space to store luggage and clothes, there is also a laundry area with a washtub completes the space.
Guest access
Including the apartment there is a clubhouse with a gym and tennis court, both of which should be opened by Dec 2020.

University of the West Indies (6km)

University of Technology (5km)
The university was founded as the Jamaica Institute of Technology in 1958. The following year it was incorporated as the College of Arts, Science and Technology (CAST), and was formally recognised by an Act of Parliament in 1964. It was granted degree awarding powers in 1986 and a governing council and academic board were established. The college gained university status, under its current name, on 1 September 1995, and permanent provision for the university was made by the University of Technology, Jamaica Act 27, which became law on 29 June 1999.

University of Hospital of the Westi Indies (m)
The University Hospital of the West Indies is an internationally recognized academic institution with 579 beds which continues to facilitate the clinical training of health care professionals. This type A regional referral hospital has over time expanded its services to meet the health needs of the region. Cutting edge technology is used in the provision of services thus ensuring excellence in teaching, research, and patient care.
To ensure that the Hospital provides a high standard of care and services, many departments, research units and casualty services were established. These included the Tropical Medical Research Unit established in 1956 and a School of Midwifery in 1957... Medicine, Surgery, Paediatric, Radiology and Anaesthetic Departments were subsequently established. Between 1961 and 1963, the hospital opened five new operating theatres, a 75-bedded Paediatric block and a 40-bassinet nursery, which was attached to an expanded Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit. A four-storey block was opened with specialist beds for Orthopaedics, Otolaryngology (Ear Nose & Throat), and Ophthalmology with Dermatology and Psychiatric patients sharing the top floor. A 16-bedded Observation Unit was also established.
Transportation

In the capital city, Kingston, large, air-conditioned luxury coaches run regularly on popular routes. These are easily accessible and comfortable to use. Outside the capital, the public transport services aren’t as regular, or fancy. Most of us islanders use the buses, minibuses, and route taxis to get around and we’d love for you to join us!
For traveling between towns, minibuses are the way to go, and certainly make for an interesting experience. Along the way, you will see – and hear – the real Jamaica. But prepare to compete for a seat with luggage of varying sizes and contents. On longer trips, passengers almost become a community; somehow the shared experience of being so close to a complete stranger may create an unspoken bond.
Each town had a designated bus park, and although the destination stands are rarely marked, the conductor will find you. Keep your luggage close to you and be sure to check fares and destination with the driver before you board.
A “route taxi” has a designated course, pick-up, and drop-off zones. They are the cheapest and fastest way to get from place to place, and always one just around the corner. Just stick out your hand, and wave.
