Welcome to Calypso Blue, a 6-bedroom, 4.5 bathroom luxury oceanfront villa nestled in the beautiful and peaceful North Side of Grand Cayman. Beautiful views of the sparkling Caribbean Sea greet you as you enter Calypso Blue. With a well laid out floor plan, Calypso Blue is an ideal villa for multiple groups to stay without feeling cramped or lacking in privacy. It is an excellent villa for couples and families, young and old.

Calypso Blue has an oceanfront infiniti edge saltwater pool with an expansive sandy beach (protected by Ironshore at the shoreline) with excellent coral reef snorkelling out the back door. A large oceanfront screened patio with ceiling fans is the perfect place to dine or relax after a day of sun and surf. Equipped with a large sectional sofa and coffee table, two comfortable lounge chairs with end table, and two dining tables (seating up to 12), there is plenty of room for relaxation and Al Fresco dining while listening to the sounds of the sparkling Caribbean Sea. Just off the patio, you will find a charcoal grill, as well as a four-burner propane grill for a great sea-side barbecue.

The 3,600 sq. ft. open floor plan features a large brand-new kitchen with modern stainless-steel appliances, full complement of small appliances including two blenders, crockpot, electric kettle, toaster oven, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, standard 12-cup drip coffee maker, electric griddle, and coffee bean grinder, to name a few! A large breakfast bar (seating up to 4), and vaulted ceiling with fan complete the expansive kitchen.

Calypso Blue has two expansive living areas, both featuring large flat-screen TVs with smart TV features and cable plan. There is comfortable seating and plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax! Large expandable dining table just outside the kitchen accommodates our guests in comfort. The screened porch offers two rectangular dining tables which will seat our guests in comfort for amazing Al Fresco dining. Ceiling fans are located in all bedrooms, kitchen and living areas.

A unique feature of Calypso Blue, that our guests love, is our private two-bedroom wing. The Wing allows multiple families to stay in privacy. 2 Oceanview King Master suites with Ensuite baths and 2 Queen bedrooms (Wing) with shared large bathroom with shower on Main level. Upstairs, you will find 2 spacious twin bedrooms and shared bathroom with shower. Our twin beds can be easily converted to King beds if desired. 3 of the first-floor bedrooms have beautiful ocean views with access to the large, screened oceanfront patio. The 4th bedroom with queen bed has a private view to the east. All four downstairs bedrooms feature full length mirrors, with plenty of closet space in each bedroom, and luggage racks for your bags. In addition to lamps on each nightstand, each room is equipped with recessed, dimmable, LED lighting.

Calypso Blue has four dedicated Air Conditioning units that serve the upstairs rooms, Wing bedrooms, Kitchen and Living areas, and Master bedrooms. In addition, all bedrooms, kitchen and living areas are equipped with ceiling fans. This allows our guests to relax in comfort.

Calypso Blue is a short drive away from the East End Resorts and restaurants, a few minutes from the famous Rum Point and Starfish Point and associated water-sport activities as well as Espresso shop for that morning coffee! The snorkelling directly offshore of Calypso Blue is amazing and well documented in various snorkel blogs. Calypso Blue is within short walking distance to a small grocery store, post office, and a quaint but well-stocked public library - perfect for children on a rainy day. George Town, Seven Mile Beach, and the airport are about a 30-35 minutes’ drive away, so a vehicle rental is a must.

Ring Video Doorbell, and floodlight cameras are present for added security.

***Booking Rules***

-- 5 nights minimum stay required.

-- 6 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Thanksgiving week.

-- 7 nights minimum and full occupancy rate required over Christmas and New Year's week

-- Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.

-- Inquire for shorter stays if calendar suits subject to approval.

-- Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.

--Booking won't be official until guest rental agreement (sent via DocuSign) is signed.

***Beach Notes***

Our beach at Calypso Blue is protected by Ironshore at the shoreline with plenty of white sand for our guests to enjoy. A poured concrete access path for access to the water with kayaks and for snorkelling. There is excellent reef protected snorkelling at Calypso Blue. Water shoes/ fins are advised for foot protection in the water, given the abundant marine life and coral.

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years across the Caribbean. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. We do make every effort to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
