About the neighbourhood

Speightstown, a few minutes drive away, is a charming, unspoilt town, with a selection of shops and restaurants, a fish market and PADI dive school. Vuemont is ideally situated with easy access to both the East and West coasts. If you are after picture postcard sandy beaches and calm azure sea the West coast offers numerous options which include Port St Charles, Mullins and further south Sandy Lane at Holetown area. If you prefer your coasts rugged, deserted and windswept, go east for a short drive to the Atlantic coast where dramatic breakers pound the deserted shore around Bathsheba. There are numerous tourist attractions within easy reach, including St Nicholas Abbey, Barbados Wildlife Reserve, Farley Hill Estate, Butterfly Flower Cave, Harrison's Cave. World class dining is available throughout the Island many good restaurants along the West coast. There are several golf courses nearby, green fees are expensive. How to get there

Turn right off Highway 2A at Mile and a Quarter in front of Tristar supermarket. Pass through Mount Brevitor and up a steep hill. Vuemont entrance is on your left.
